Painted Brake Calipers

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Be patient when you powder coat your calipers yourself, i once did red coat on my other Honda, drying them was pain in the butt, my car was on the rack for 6 hours... and make sure get a friend to support you.

I heard that. I am tininting my windows this week.

What percent of tint do you plan to use for the front and the rear?

are you getting your tims and paint at Simply Tire?

If I finalize my Rim choice...I amy end up at Simply Tire. If I do, I will have my calipers painted Black.

If I go somewhere else, I may put the caliper painting on hold...or do it myself.

A club with people have a shared interest in cars...usually a particular type of car.

Examples: Toronto Protege Club, Toront Mazda3 Club, Toronto Prelude Club, etc...

Both...this forum is a form of an online club.

The one I founded about 7 years ago is: http://www.toprotege.com

I don't own a protege anymore, but still involved. We do fund raising events, cruises, dinners, picknicks, shows, meets, weekly meets, etc.

Thanks for the info. I usually get my cars done with 20% back and 35% front, so the cops wont stop me.

Found this thread using a search, I'm located in Toronto too and would love to know the location of these places that will paint calipers for you... I can't be bothered to do it myself, it would be a first time for me and the last thing I want to do is mess it up... if you Toronto cats could point me in the right direction, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance - Jay
