Painted body parts...

OK, so the other night in a big storm the wind blew over the basketball net at my house. I had my Jeep up at my apartment and got the call from my mom that the basketball net had fallen on my car. It damaged my front bumper and driver's side fender.

Does anyone know of a place that sells body parts relatively cheap that come already painted? I worked with one place on eBay with a few of my other cars but they don't seem to be there anymroe. Any input would be appreciated. (Chuki front bumper and driver's side fender)

just buy from a 3rd party for cheap, and paint, or if you are lucky, find someone with the same color.

Junk yards are probably your best bet. I would just call around for red 240's. You could get one a city or 2 away and just install them on spot and give them the old ones to scrap. Just bring a small metric tool kit with you.

Heh if you find a place that sells cheap chuki bumpers let me know, i've been looking for like a year now and still haven't found anything cheaper than the $500 Nissan wants for it. For one bumper!! Thats half what i paid for the car that came with 20,000 other parts.

http://www.iautobodyparts.com teases with the bumper on their site, only like $230 shipped or something. So i checked out and paid and was eagerly waiting my bumper and got a refund+out of stock notice instead.

Drivers side fenders i did find though, all over. "new aftermarket oem-replacements" at least, for like $50 a piece in PA somewhere.

Well EverythingNissan has a little bit cheaper price for the chuki bumper, but it was a little more than what I wanted to pay.

Cool that is a little bit cheaper, good find. There's never any 240's at the 2 junkyards within driving range so i'll probably get a new one if i don't get lucky soon. When there is a 240 its just scraps within hours heh.

The junk yard here in ft myers is littered with them. Bodies in good condition. Motors in bad.

I work in a body shop and we repair a lot of bumpers. I think you could have your bumper repaired and painted for 200 or 250

Mine can't be repaired cause i got hit and it cracked and some parts of it got left on the road..
