Got tired of all the chrome on my new 2010 Coupe SR 6MT. Took the grille off and then unclipped the chrome piece off the grill itself so I wasnt driving with no grill at all for a week. Sanded it down one night for a couple hours until all the chrome was off and all that was left was plastic. Then painted it with some fusion for plastic paint and then cleared it with krylon gloss clear for plastic. Turned out pretty good and I let it dry in my garage for about 4 days to make sure the clear hardened without getting wet etc. Turned out pretty good until c-mod comes out with the 2010 grill and then Ill prolly buy one and switch it out.

IMO, i think it looks a lil too much having the front COMPLETELY all blacked out. needs some contrast

To be honest I had planned on blacking everything out but it was just too much. Nothing to set the grille out. I plan on buying a c-mod grille as soon as they come out with them for the 2010 so this was a subtle mod that could get me by until I can purchase something else. Thanks for the advice though. Always appreciated!
