Could someone give me the details on the paint warranty. I'm looking to see what it covers and how long the coverage is for.

If I can't make a warranty claim I've come to the conclusion that I'll have to get my G repainted. I can't take it anymore. This paint sucks balls. I feel like each week that goes by I find some new chip in the paint, regardless of location (hood, door, trunk lid, quarter panel). I've seen cars 10 years older with less chips and it's not like I drive through construction areas or anything.

I'm pretty sure you have at least another year left. My 4-year 60k is up this Aug.

Is it your bumper? I just had mine repainted when I had a nice scratch in my drivers' door. That was last November and I don't have any chips yet.

If it's a 4-year warranty, then yeah I have another year.

I've never had an issue with the bumper chipping. I've had the bumper replaced when it got backed into and no issues with that. The rear bumper is good, had that replaced when it was backed into another vehicle by a mechanic. Every other panel on the car has a chip in it somewhere. The hood is teribble, especially the leading edge, as well as the leading edge of the fenders. Both doors have a few, the rear quarter panels. The only other exception is the roof, that doesn't have one yet. Even the trunk lid has one.

What are the conditions for making a claim on the paint warranty?

my front bumber is getting worst and worst by the months... where did you get yours painted? how much was it?

I been thinking of doing it my self with some touch up paint... but i dont really have anywhere to paint it... since i dont work in autobody anymore...

Will the dealer sell pre-painted front bumpers? cause i would just buy it from them and install it my self... i would go ahead and get a sport front bumper (as a matter of fact im about o call my dealer right now, ill report back)

To have a new one done, it was in the $800-950 range last summer.

ok so the dealer only sells the black unpainted bumper covers... Infiniti of south atlanta's body shop quotes 350-450 range on restoring the current bumper...

i checked my insurance and they will cover it... but i have $500 deductable... but i have $50/day car rental... so i guess only the car rental part will come in handy on this one... getting my car inspected tommorow... these paint chips getting on my nerves everytime i look at them.

I had a paint shop just repaint the bumper. Very inexpensive, especially if you can take it off yourself. Should be around $200.

Good luck getting the dealer to fix it...let us know if you can!
