I finally found a 240 and i think that this is the one. The only thing, is that its red. Everyone tells me how hard color change is. So i was thinking, it wouldnt be as hard if i painted it dark orange flake...right? I could just sand the red down and paint over it with a little brighter orange and let the red tone it down. Or something like that. I have everything and everywhere to paint. And i can get supplies cheap. But im just looking for a paint experts opinions.

No that doesnt work, if you want it to actually look good, you are going to need to sand it down, fill the dents, cracks, etc., then primer it, so the original color wont matter unless the new color chips away.

It's not so easy. Got to do what mouse says, because the when it's all finished, the paint will only look as good as the work you put into prepping it. Plus if you want everthing to match, got to remove engine to paint the bay and paint all those misc. places.
