i decided to spray paint my bodykit to match my car today, but after painting i realized the shade of paint doesnt match with my car, so i decided to spray paint the whole car since the paint is already crappy. anyways, my question is, is there any way to make spray paint shine and give it that glossy look like when it came out of the factory? Ive been looking at car polishers but dont know which one to get, and i dont know if they would work on spray paint...

The spray touchup paint that you buy is acrylic lacquer it can be buffed out to a high gloss but I doubt you could acheive the results your looking for out of a piss can. Cars today are painted using base coat clear coat polyurathane in the old days cars were painted with enamel, lacquer,or in some cases synthetic enamel. Lacquer can be applied over over any of these and is the one of the only ones that can be buffed down. Good luck
