I have stock wheels on my truck that I painted(was going to spray color on them but loved the black primer that I sprayed) and I think they look pretty sweet.

Only pic I have of the black wheels.

On trucks it's a little different but I still prefer alloy in most cases for cars.

So my S13's alloys look like crap too? (duplicolor graphite)You'll be livid when you see that I painted my SSR Integral's in dark bronze.

Yeah, not a fan of the black-ish stock wheels on the red coupe; sorry toots.

Aftermarket wheels are a whole different ball game though, and as a general rule, I like bronze on red, but we'll see.

"Graphite" S14 SE's > "Graphite" S13 SE's in this instance.Oh, and nice paint. But I still hate the whole "zenki lip hanging off the bottom of a chuki bumper" thing. So overall; not bad, but could use work.

Aftermarket wheels usually look better in different colors other than silver alloy. SOME stock wheels can pass for tasteful when they're painted, but there's only a handful. IMHO, usually any 5 star spoke will make the grade, but in the end its gonna boil down to what you really want to do regardless of what the poll says.

also a lot of time stock wheels from one car can look awsome on anotherfor instance240sx+350z wheels

i have even seen stock probe GT wheels on a lowered maverick that looked awsome the owner even made the wheel wells larger and then re rolled the edge so it looke like it could fit something a lot bigger than what came with it

Woah woah, don't be so broad with that. Most (base model) 350z wheels look awful even on the 350, much less on a 240. The only good 350z wheels are the forged Rays 18's, and 18's + S13 =

Indeed; I usually only run OEM wheels. S14 SE's, Z32tt's, R32 GT-R's...that last being my favorite.

Those look pretty good actually, but I have a feeling they don't come in the choicest sizes/offsets. =\
