welcome to NICO

 you got a really good deal on that car...people are easily paying 1500 dollars for one that needs paint

$2500 is a fair price for a *really* good paint job with nothing too special

EDIT: if youll search for "paintjob AND cost" I'm pretty sure you can find all that you are looking for

the kid is restricted from the computer otherwise he would be on the board till dawn... the car does't really need paint anywhere but the bumpers, but I figured may as well do the whole thing...installing a Apline stereo with Boston Acustics this weekend.

He was wanting a Civic...but I got the deal on the 240sx and he is into it...everybody has a honda...he is pretty stoked about the new ride...coming out of the shop tomorrow from a full tune up and detail...he drives for the first time in the afternoon.

What a cool dad. I'm impressed, lucky kid. Even better for choosing the 240 over the Honda! Great idea!!! :D

good advice! We just finshed detailing the car. it only needs paint on the front bumper. The rest of the car looks very good. the inside of the car looks showroom new.

I have been asking about replacing the catalyctic converter on this car but not getting any anwsers... do you have any idaes on this topic? Where I can get on cheap but good quality? Also looking for some really floor mats. We will post some pics later today...I think you will be impressed how far $50.00 goes today...I am up to about $350 in repairs, and the cat will complete the needs for the car...still pretty good, The mechanic offered me $2500 cash...

Hahaha....Its funny how you restricted him from the computer and bought him a car. I can imagine my dad telling me...."get off of the d*mn computer and go play with your car." ;)

he obviously doesn't know the tricks of the trade, haha. "Dad(or mom) I'm working on my Periodic table in Excel. After that, I have to make a Power Point for Spanish."

After a while... "The is taking me awhile, I have to do 16 pages"

the kid knows the homework computer game...PowerPoints, video editing...essays...the whole thing...he get a little time on the family computer to do really required stuff, but HIS computers are a combination of SUN Ultra 10 and a killer windows box... using the family computer is like letting you drive the family buick stationwagon... no fun...It has his GPA up to 3.45 from 2.0 he gets the stuff back 4.0...I know this sounds tough but beleive me he can do it in his sleep...no spanish though...he is in his 3rd year of japanese...my first offer was to find an old 325 to fix up... he wanted a Honda...but he is into the 240 big time...We are having fun with it...maybe a turbo in the summer...
