Has anyone had any experience using this site?

http://www.paintforcars.com/

I looked at their testimonials and the cars seemed to come out decent. I plan on using an HVLP gun to spray the paint and im going to do my own body work....the pricing to have a shop to do it is ridiculous. $200 for a complete kit...i mean I know you get what you pay for but i've seem some good $50 rustoleum jobs so who am I to judge lol.

edit: hope im not breaking any rules linking to that site ^^

Ah, who am I kidding...nobody likes clicking on links lol.

Heres 3 colors Im considering. Gunmetal gray metallic, Daytona Blue metallic, and Bronze metallic

I can guarantee you the end result of a paint job (mostly irrespective of the cost of the paint used) will come down to how much work you put into it.

Improper prepping, insufficient sanding, spraying too thick, etc will ruin any paint job.

To answer your question, I don't know about the quality of their paint, nor do I have experience. It's possible it may fade after a couple years, or that it'll oxidize easily, or some other bs. Don't listen to baseless opinions, though. You'd probably be better off searching for reviews on Google. Look for long time reviews too.

Despite the number of people that do their own paint here, I doubt anyone's used that specific source.

Most of the work shown is through prepping. MAKE SURE that you will be willing to do all that is necessary for paint prep. Spray just requires a little technique and practice, the prep is the PITA.

Pretty much sums it up. The quality of the paint does matter too, but the prepping matters MUCH more. After you start to get into it, the price that the shops are charging becomes a bit more understandable.

Anyway, if that site has good testimonials, then go for it.

Also, for the s13, I think the grey would look the best
