Hi
I have observed lot of dots on my 2020 Nissan rogue white model. These dots are mainly on both mirrors and front bumper.
I haven't scratched anything and it looks like little dots all over on the paint. Is it paint defect or damage caused due to any splash while driving on the road? i don't recollect expect driving through rain water .
I have washed it multiple times and it's not looking like dirt but some kind of damage due to abrasive substance

Overall i feel Nissan's paint quality is really not good and haven't got a favorable response from dealer as well on this issue

can someone please help to understand what are these dots? any way to remove using any standard products available on amazon. Appreciate your inputs here please

Thanks

Well there’s a reason the last ceo escaped jail by hiding in a cello case.

You can get a bra, or vinyl wrap those trouble areas. Or paint etc.

Instead of those annoying baby sitting driver aides and alarms, they should focus on better paint.

If I got a new car, pebbles removing my paint is annoying as hell, and my ocd would just make me unhappy looking at it. Fix it so u won’t have to stare at it. Or wait a decade where you won’t care. :poke:

Do your best to buff / prep the spots OUT .
And maybe go old school wax every couple months to protect , now on ? ya know?

Out of curiosity, are they actual pits rather than possibly something ON the surface. It kind of looks like what would happen if it's been driven through a road that's freshly paved with asphalt.

If that's the case you could prolly remove it using auto clay and some soapy woder.

If it's actual pits, then yeah pretty much nuthin you can except bring it in to a paint shop

That looks like road tar or grit. Try some WD-40 with a micro fiber towel. Spray it on a small section let it soak a bit and gently wipe to see if it dissolves it.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
@KoiMaxx It looks like actual pits.

I tried going to Nissan dealer considering my vehicle is still under warranty. But haven't got helpful response from them and Nissan customer service asking me to get report submitted through dealer.

Did anyone know the process for such repair through Nissan though i am least hopeful about it?

Yeah, sorry to hear that.
Unless you got a special coverage from the dealer, you'd be better off just getting it done by an actual paint shop.
