I won't get into specifics however, my 03 G Coupe needs a new hood, left fender, left windshield pillar, and front bumper cover. A large tree limb fell on it during our last period of bad weather. My concern is that the new paint may not match the original, well polished yet aged paint. Does any one agree with this theory? Also, was told that a gallon of the white paint used on the 03 coupe is VERY expensive...any ideas would be helpful.

I assume you have the Ivory Pearl paint (Pearl White)?

I've read that that is one of the more difficult colors to match because of the pearl coat. If I remember correctly, that paint job is:

PrimerWhitePearlPearlPearl

No clue what it would cost. I usually like to estimate around $2-$3k because that's the price I've been quoted, but every car and color is different.

thanks for the input. I was thinking along the same lines as you. Bad thing is that in order to sell/trade the car on a newer G I guess i will have to roll the dice.Except for the body damage the car is very nice, maybe I'll fix it and buy some other type of toy??!! Thanks again.

Not sure what your goal or how mechanically inclined you are, but If I had the money and was in your shoes, I'd start modding the heck out of that car.

Just a dream...

Do a VQ35HR engine swap and turbo/supercharge.Install the revised interior (05-07)VLSD or Mechanical LSD if you have the open diff.Look into a body kit.

It's quite a bit of money and you'll never get it back, but wow would that be fun.

Great thought's however, I done that to a number of past vehicles, and with fabulous results. I am thinking more along the line of repairing then selling or trading for an 09 Journey. Thanks again.
