Paint Color Help/Hood Release - QX4

2 issues:

I bought my 16 year old daughter a 2001 Infiniti QX4 last night.

1) The bumper is pretty scraped up and I want to touch it up. I have the color code listed near the engine (MTO) but I don't know if this specifies the main car color (white) or the trim/bumper color. How do I find out the name of the trim/bumper color?

2) What's with the stinking hood release. I pull the release in the car but when I stick my fingers to push up the latch it seems as if I need 1 inch longer fingers. I can't get it up high enough to open the latch. Is it just me or is something missing?

Thank you 04Pathse. I was all over that page but was under the impression those were 2 different body paints. I think that is correct though that one is trim, one is body. Thank you!

I checked that site and don't see my 02 color, KY0 (Brilliant Silver).

@QX4ME that link is for 2001's only. You will have to navigate to 2002

Yes I chose 2002 but there is no KY0.
