Paint code
Paint code
Where can I find the paint code on my 1997 Q45? My car is a light metallic green and the paint shop only lists a cypress green which is far too dark. Thanks.

It's under the hood in the engine bay on the drivers side against the firewall.

There are different green colors for the FGY33 depending on the year of production:
#KR5 = Pewter Pearl Metallic Clearcoat (Greenish Gray) 1997 and up#DPO = Forest Green Pearl Clearcoat (Dark Green) 1997 and up#DT2 = Dark Green Pearl Clearcoat (Dark Green) 1999 and up
I believe yours may be #KR5.

A TSB is issued every year for all the Infiniti paint codes.
