Paint Code question

On the firewall odf my wife's 240SX is a metal tag and where it shows: Color/Trim and reads 526 G. My local paint suppliers are having a hard time deciphering this stock 1990 red color.Does this sound like a good number?

check in the engine bay, on the firewall. You'll see a code on the small metal plate. For example, mine reads AH3.

That's weird, the only plate shows the number I have posted and it isn't working. Anywhere else a person can look?
