Paint Chips

I know that there have been comments in the past about the tendency for the Rogue's paint to chip easily. I noticed this today while drying my Rogue after I got it washed. I have several chips on the front end and hood that were probably just from road debris. Has anyone used any of the paint chip repair kits, such as Langka? Any recommendations of which work well?Thanks

i havnt done anything yet, but i have a chip on the back of my left mirror... i have some car chip paint that i might just put on it

New paint these days suck and you might as well get used to it. I had to put a bra on my last car and I have a clear bra on the G. Seems to do a decent job at this point although it's not a cheap alternative.

A co-worker of mine just bought a used 2005 BMW 325xi M-Sport edition wagon, black in color. This car has so many paint chips it makes my wifes '02 Mazda Protege look good! It already has a clear bra installed but the chips extent right up hood to the a-pillars. And they are not shallow, the thick BMW paint is chipped right through to the primer.. about 1/32 of an inch... it looks like the surface of the moon!

The BMW is +$40,000 car. Goes to show you that it does not matter how prestigious the brand, you can still have paint issues.

Anyone know if you can buy touch-up paint that properly matches the white Rogue colour? I know it's a kind of funky pearl finish... I'm hoping that wouldn't make it hard/impossible to match in case of an accident or big paint chip that would require touching up.

Get it from Nissan. I just picked up white touch up paint for mine and it's a 2-stage (white base with pearl clear). I have a couple chips where the bra does not cover that I need to touch up so I grabbed some but have not used it yet.
