i did a quick search but it didnt really help, i might have overlooked something, but whats the best way to repair paint chips? i have some one my hood and outside my mirrors, and would like to fix them. I know i need touch up paint, but what else do i need, and whats the process to do it right. I dont want it to look like someone put a big glob of paint on there and called it a day. Do i need to order a clearcoat too or does the touch up paint come with it? any help would be awesome!... and im guessing the easiest way to get bugs that are stuck on the hood and such would be bug and tar remover? thanks.

Nissan makes a touch-up pen. you can get it from the dealer. It's around 20 USD. You just push on the pen and it comes out the tip. Just push it on where the chip is and the paint will come out and fill it in. On the otherside of the pen is the clear coat. I use bug and tar remover from walmart and rub it on with a terry cloth.
