I realize the formus is already large and there are a lot of sub forums already, but I really think that a lot of good advice can come out of having a sub forum in the Technical Forums for automotive paint and autobody. I mean we have sections for fixing or working on every other part of our cars including the Interiors, but nothing that focus' solely on how to make the car look nice on the outside. This would be a great place for all of those "which bodykit should I get" threads as well as a place for widebody/rolled fender threads. Plus I'm sure most of the people on here would benefit from it when it comes to fixing any body or frame damage or if they are confused about paint prep or what brands of paint are good and even for information on how to prep and paint their own cars and symptoms of a bad or aging paint job. I mean we have a section for detailing, so why not the actual autobody work itself. Plus with times being so financially hard like they are I'm sure a lot of people would rather not have to pay some guy to fix their car when they can do it themselves.

I think it's a great idea, NICO should have had a section for this a long time ago. I've always done all the body work on all my S13s but it's been mostly easy stuff like body filler and popping out air dents. I'd love to get some tips on welding which is something I've always wanted to learn as a hobby.

I completely forgot about the whole welding aspect, having that in there would be freaking awesome.

Bumping to the top to get moar votes, I really want to see this happen. I'm sure we have some members in here who are grizzled autobody guys who could moderate it.
