Stuck my console panel in oven at 150f to help it dry/cure with new paint , but I guess its a little too hot!

LOL..oops

Ouch, that stinks. Did the paint say to cure after application? When I rattle can stuff I just leave it in a clean/dry area till its ready to rock.

I'm actually debating painting my console black right now, its all scratched up from the previous owner, and a little from me when I swapped out my head unit.

I put it the oven 'cause I wanted to do second coat rather quickly...always seems to work in past. Yeah mne was scratched up too... Wanted to make it go with the car color...

Yikes, this actually is a good idea. I ended up ordering a new shift console from some site because the old one was scratched to the max.
