Paddle shift

Okay, so I have done all the ready about Moyea and his paddle shift system. Now I know Moyea has not been on here in almost a year. So these questions are for anybody that may have info they can help with or if anybody on here can put me in touch with him that would be great. A little background on me.... I messed my knee up in Iraq a couple of years ago, and it has been getting worse day by day. So it is getting harder to shift the mani in my Silvia. I have no love for normal Automatics and therefore dont really want to swap to one, but I have little choice... to be honest my question are quite simple. Was it worth it? Did paddle shift controls on a normal automatic transmission prove to be a viable option? Was it reliable?
