Hi,

Recently purchased a 2005 Pathfinder LE and need to do a complete rear brake job. So far I have narrowed it down to the following items but open to any  suggestion/recommendations

Rear Rotors
Raybestos - 980462
EBC - RK7403
StopTech - 120.42086CRY

Pads
Hawk - HB619y.626 LTS
EBC Green - DP1748

Calipers
????

I'm leaning towards the full EBC Rotor/Pad combo but interested to hear what people have to say.  Also need some caliper suggestions

Cheers

I would go with the Raybestos rotors combined with Centric/Wagner ceramic pads. Those would do plenty well for you. Your other thread about lifting the car tells me that you plan on off roading?

If that's the case, you are probably better off using semi-met brake pads instead of ceramics. For calipers, I bought Nugeon on my other car. Their rebuild quality was extremely good and they are backed my limited lifetime warranty.

Just my 2 cents.

Why would you avoid ceramics for offroading?

For off roading/trail use, I want brakes that are effective "now". Ceramics are longer lasting, can taker more thermal cycles but aren't as effective when cold (rotors/pads being cold as well as ambient). They are fine for mild off roading, but I do believe the semi mets would be the way to go for aggressive off roading/trail uses.
