pacemaker does the intelligent affect a pacemaker

Does anyone know if the intelligent key affects a pacemaker ?

The manual says it might and to contact the pacemaker manufacturer. Better safe than sorry in this case...

Page 3-3 of the 2006 owners manual:

If you have a pacemaker, you should contact the medical equipment manufacturer to ask if it will be affected by the Intelligent Key signal.

Welcome to NICO!

Like the people have said, I would suggest contacting the manufacturer, but I would be extremely surprised if it could affect a pace-maker in any way. The transmission from the key is extremely low-power and probably in the wrong frequency range to matter at all! It is way less power than a cell-phone during transmission, for example.

But, it does not hurt to check and be sure.
