Ah, i went to the Philly Auto Show last night, and i felt disappointed. Nothing really new, except the Evo 8, ( i kind of skipped over the whole GM/Daimler Chrysler section, it was better last year when they had the Concept Viper GT-S-R)
The same Subaru SccaProRally car, (just black headlight housings this time around), BMW didn't even have the M5 this year, but they had the 7 and Z4(roadsters...eww, don't get me wrong, it looks nice, but it's a roadster) . No Mazda RX-8, the 6 is very nice, no fanfare for the Mazdaspeed Protege. What cracked me up about the Evo 8 was that they had no signs, no distinction about the car. What was on the rotating pedestal you ask? Their new SUV. *shudder*
I was surprised that was a Ferrari/Maserati booth, as in last year the only Ferrari's shown were privately owned. The 360GT race car rocked. The Porsche's were nice. The Cayenne.........Porsche sold their soul to the SUV, oh well, they need the money i guess.
The NSX was from last year, Z i already saw at a dealer (and a track model at that), Murcielago from last year, at least they had the new Aston Martin Vanquish and G35 coupe which was very nice.
all in all, i didn't use all 4 rolls of my film this time. Hmmm.
ps. did you see the dodge ram truck ballon w/ propellers that flew over the Dodge section? that was cool.
