Are you the guy with the grey Z32? If so, I think my bf and i spoke to you (he has the z32 w/ a JDM vgtt swap)
Yes I am. AAMOF, your b/f was supposed to get me a little part off of his swap clip, but he never contacted me further if he had it or not and I did not have his info. Anyhow if he still has it, I need the passenger side headlight upper adjustment assembly, if looking down at the light its the little box with a phillips head screw on it located in the upper right corner of the head light bucket attached to the headlight (passenger side looking down, facing the car).

Its really no biggy because it doesn't prevent me from driving, but i did offer money or some other kind of reimbursement (a gift).

I hope he is coming because I would really like to see his car!

So far so good. I saw a post about this on twinturbo.net and figured I'd try to get there.

Is there any chance that a PDR guy could be invited to the event? I've picked up a few dings I'd like to get removed and they usually give a good discount at an event like this because of all the work in a concentrated area. Pat the current pres. of the ECZA has contact info for some one in that area, if you like I can contact him to get the info. I just didn't want to do it with out contacting the organisers first, don't want to step on any ones toes.

Peace

Well, being that this is my first what I would call MAJOR event (wasn't expected to turn out this big), I would have no clue what needs to be done, and I'm not really wanting to add more stress in getting this event set up and good to go. I've pretty much got everything buttoned down at this point.

I would say though, that if you know someone and you want to contact him and have him come out, we can make an announcement in case anyone else is in need of his services. If he needs a guaranteed minimum of cars, or up front payment of any sort, I don't think that will really be possible. Also, wasn't necessarily meant to be like a car show/vendor type event. Just a good ol' fashioned BBQ for a bunch of like minded individuals to come out and have a good time. Sorry for the long explanation, but I hope that helps.

But I'll add you to the list!

Cool, I'll try to get him to come out. Folks usually come out of the wood work when the PDR guy starts working. He's cash for services, so no out of pocket for the organizers. But I think it is a nice tie in, you've got a bunch of folks who are into their cars hangin' out and some one walking around who can fix those anoying little dings for a reasonable fee. I'm still not 100% sure if I can get there (75% @ this point), my wife is in FL w/ my kids comming home tomorrow, I'll check with her when I get her at the airport (I did tell her about it already though), I don't think she'll mind .

Peace

Ah, he mentioned he tried to find the piece and he couldn't, perhaps that's why he hasn't gotten back to you. Who knows, he's pretty busy (doesn't have time for me either, lol). He works at Nissan and gets off at 3pm on Saturday, hopefully the BBQ will still be going on and you can see his loud-*** car. I'll be there with my recently acquired red S13 coupe complete w/ home depot lip.

Piknockout:Think the BBQ will still be going at 3pm? My bf can't make it until after that time.

Yes, the meet will still be going on through 3pm. I can see this thing easily going through 5-6pm, depending on what people feel like doing. The pavillion is ours for the day.

Just wanted to say I had a great time. It was nice to meet everyone again and I got a real positive reaction to my new wheels which is always cool. I also got to meet some other pretty cool people and sit in some nice seats I have been considering for my Z (stock leather has to go).

Josh- You are the man and I can't wait for the next one, I hope you made out alright with the money and all.

Sorry everyone I have no pictures because I had no camera.

JSYK:15-20 Se-R's (b13, b14, b15)2-4 240sx's (s13 and s14)8 Z cars (z32 and z33)Thats just what I recall from my feeble memory

Piknockout--Sorry I didn't get to introduce myself. Someone told me which person you were after we left the meet (you were the guy with the white hat, right?). It was a nice meet, it was a shame that some people had to be childish and show off when leaving the parking-lot (those people should've just stayed home IMO). I thought it was funny everyone flocked over to my super-stock, rally-car height S13. Me, Clark (black S14), my bf (turbo black Z32) and Fred went to TGIF afterwards and talked a bit, then Fred came over my house and watched Best Motoring DVD's with us! Haha. It was a fun day. We should hold meets at Bellevue again.

Hahahah! Here's a pic of Fred's car, Clark's car, and mine at my house!

Here's a teaser pic for you of the B15 side of the field.

Hopefully this will appease you until more people are able to post up. I want to thank everyone for showing up, it was a great time. It's nice when you put this kind of effort into something and it turns out well and everyone appreciates it. Only complaint I heard was that a few of the hot dogs didn't get cooked all the way and were a little cold in the middle. If there's anything else I missed, any suggestions and such, please let me know. I'm going to try and set up another similar event in October probably, so look for details around September or so.

Lester - thanks man, I appreciate it. I don't claim to be the man, but I won't deny it either! And yes, money worked out fine. I JUST broke even on the whole thing, maybe up like $5 or so. Thanks to everyone being honest and paying.

Skydragoness - Were you the girl with the curly hair in the pony tail? If so, I almost came up and asked, but got busy randomly talking to people. And yes, I was the guy in the white Gonzaga hat and camo shorts.

Slappy - You're just a lazy @ss b@stage! :p Too bad you couldn't make it out, it was a good time.

Yep that was me. Everybody was asking me if i was 'swapped' Overall you guys have a good bunch. Only a couple of 'show-offs' and the nice thing about setting up the meet at the park is that you don't get random hecklers pulling into the lot, since everyone has to pay to get in. You should hold another one in late August or something!

Hey, you guys had some show-offs too!

Actually, I think my roommate was the worst showoff in the GTO. I was pissed with him that he did that, but I have to admit it looked pretty sweet...if it weren't on a public road and implicated everyone there. I bit(h slapped him when I got home though.

As far as another event, it probably won't be until October. That way it will be a little cooler and I will have enough time to plan. Not only that, but if you hold too many events, less people tend to show up. But maybe look for another Wednesday night dinner meet some time in August here in DE.

Sorry I didnt make it guys, some of you even called on my cell. I missed it for the same reason I missed sunday at ripken the weekend before, I was installing a limited slip differential. Couldn't finish up the car until I got access to a vice which unfortunatly ended up being last weekend. Next time I wont try and sqeeze a project like that between two events when I also have to work a full week. Glad you guys had fun, hopefully I'll see you out there next time.
