Recently my G37 was involved in a hit & run to the driver fender/wheel. I researched Infiniti certified shops and dropped it off. Picking up my G37 it still had the strange noise coming from the driver undercarriage but the shop couldn't hear it. The bodyshop tech did a pre & post scan and cleared code P2604 without researching if it had been repaired. I can not find much information on the code. Can someone recommend a code reference site?
Shame on me for not realizing bodyshop techs don't do mechanical! I called Infiniti and the shop is not on their certified list. :rotflmao

P2604 doesn't show up as a good code for an '08 G37 (nor does any P26xx code). B2607 does, it's a no-power code for the steering lock (see SEC-77):

If that's what it was and it erased, I don't think I'd worry about it.

VStar650CL, I was wrong, just looked again at their LaunchX Vehicle Diagnostic report and the code was B2604-00 PNP/CLUTCH SW. Sorry and many thanks for replying so quickly.

You're most welcome. B2604 often shows up if the key is cycled with either the shift knob removed or the shift cable disconnected. Same deal, if it erased and didn't return, I don't think I'd be worried unless you get a recurrence.

Thanks. I figured something happened after the alignment and resetting of the SAS, cuz they really boogered up the silver strap on my gear shift knob.
