1997 Pathie:

I've been having a difficult (polite word) time trying to get the SES light to go off. It started with a P1444 and then to the P1447 with each install of a yet another part.

Quick History, with either the the two above Codes showing after 2-30 miles of driving. Changed the Solenoid Valve, then changed the TPS. Found that the vacuum sys had charcoal in it, clean the system, twice, and replaced the cartridge. SES back on. Next changed the Purge cut valve. We're back to the P1447 and only 30 miles before the SES is back on.

At this time I've shelled out over $500 for parts and labor to do the repairs noted above, and My mechanic is at his wits end.

Help!! I need to get this fixed pronto, so I can pass CA smog test and move on with life. Any advice welcomed.
