2001 pathfinder 3.5l.Service engine light on, buy a good scanner, it throws a P1145 code. check my look up CD it says problem is an intake valve timing solenoid CKT Bank 2I read all I can find on the internet including this sight and then the first thing I do is switch the sensors, clear the code, light comes back on ,same code P1145. From what I've read that meant the solenoid was bad, I replaced it(factory parts) clear the code drive a coupe blocks, turn off motor start the car, drive a short way ,light comes back on. Throws a P1145 code again, I replace the drivers side (bank 2) sensor and try again, same thing ,light goes on and throws a P1145 code again. I talked to a nissan mechanic and he suggested the cam location sensor so I replaced that.Same thing, car still runs great just like when I started, but,I am $500.00 in the hole and still have the same problem . I would greatly appreciate some help with this.

Join the boat, I had both 1140 and 1145 so I changed both vtc sensors and both solenoids, CES is still there even after a 12 hour battery disconnect and clearing with the scanner. JUST WONT GO AWAY LOL

Car runs fine though

Good luck

Thanks for your response, I wonder if it isn,t a freak electrical issue, dirty connection or faulty wiring. If I find anythig I will post my findings.
