2001 Nissan Pathfinder SE 65K.....I just had DTCs P1140 and 1145 replaced 2 weeks ago and now my SES light is back. The code I pulled says P1135, which is the drivers side Intake Valve Timing Control, LH Bank 2. Through the posts, I can't find the location of this part or a part number. The light comes on when the car first starts, not when driving, so after voltage tests I am thinking it is not the sensor. Looking for a hand.

Great Forum and Thanks!

Welcome to NICO...

Did you read the info in the sticky thread??? Theres a fairly in depth thread about how to diagnose it..

Anyway, your VTC solenoid is located on the front of the valve cover.. I would recommend downloading the FSM at http://www.phatg20.net youll need winRAR to view.

Thanks for the link! I already have the FSM but it doesn't point to a part number or location specifically. I am looking on pages 440-445 in the EC section and don't find it. I will look at the sticky again, but it only talks about the diagnostic, which I know to do. Is the VTC Solenoid the same as the Intake Valve timing control part?

Yes... Just a difference in nomenclature.

VTC SENSOR - Part number 23731-2y524, is the correct part number?

Thanks!
