P101 problem help

I've been having a volume air flow problem for a long time and I can't find the location of the leak. I was wondering what the silver box thing in the back connected to the air box just past the MAF sensor was called. I'm wondering if my problem could be that gasket. any help is appreciated

Are you sure you even have a leak? try cleaning the MAFS with CRC MAFS cleaner and see if that resolves the issue.

I have done that, I'll drive it around to see if it resolves but last time this happened a hose came off and you could hear the air and I think I hear air again. this is also a new sensor with a clean air filter.

Hearing air is a big sign.

I personally had to refit that connector near the maf sensor.

Didn’t hear anything, but dealer told me about it and how it wouldn’t budge.

I did it myself anyways.

No more codes. Plus I cleaned the sensor again for good measure.

Still having P101 code pop up.. any more ideas. also some one tried telling me theres a recall on the converter but can't find anything online. any one hear about his?
