P0734 2010 Q56

Greetings I have a 2010 QX56 with 176000 recently change radiator coolant hose lost alot of coolant added more coolant sevice engine light on check code it says P0734 but car was running perfect before radiator was change any suggestion?

P0734 is a 4th gear slip or no-shift. It's possible the transmission got hot along with the engine and that the code will erase now that the overheat is fixed. Try clearing it and see if it stays cleared.

ok but symtoms is still there i will carry it to a technician so they can pinpoint what the issue is ...

It may be that the TCM is in failsafe and will come out of it when the code is cleared. If not, it's entirely possible something went south in the transmission from the overheat.

Just got it back from the shop they said the transmission fluid was extremely low they had to add 4 quarts more.thank you for your help

Four quarts can't be good. It's almost certain the fluid would oxidize with a level that low, and it's also a good bet you have a leak. Overheating won't make fluid disappear. Keep a sharp eye on it and don't be surprised if other problems show up, fresh fluid is highly detergent and can wash out crud that happens to be holding the internal seals together.
