Hello, trying to diagnose a p0720 on a 370z
From what I have found so far the issue can be with the speed sensor or with the valve body.
My questions are
1. Is the sensor replaceable without dropping the pan? Where is it mounted? Part number would be awesome
2. If the valve body is replaced, does it have to be reprogrammed with special tools?

I tried the links on here but they don't load anything : p0720-t563843.html

Thank you

According to ASIST, the sensor is inside the VB and not serviceable. That's not to say you might not be able to locate and replace it, sometimes they're regular Hall sensors just screwed into the VB.

New VB's will come blank, so yes, if you replace it with a new part, programming will be needed.

You're most welcome. Yah, nothing is cheap on models that have the TCM inside the valve body. Anything that goes wrong with either one sticks you with the bill for the whole shebang.
