Hi! Hoping for some guidance here. Never posted before. Just had some work done on my 3.5 2005 Altima this week. Oil Change, Battery Replacement, tire rotation, replacement of alternator drive belt, power steering belt, fuel system tune up, brake system flush. Service engine soon light now on so I checked that manually after reading how to do this online and I'm coming up with P0507 code. I will assume this is related to one of the above services - but you know what they say about assuming ;-) Advise is so sincerely appreciated. Have to keep this car in good condition as long as possible, just lost my job, single mom :-( Thanks

Was the light on when you picked it up from the mechanic that did the work? Was it a dealership?

P0507 is a code related to idle-speed, and it can be caused by a vacuum leak. I'd take it back to the mechanic who did the work and ask him to run a diagnostic free of charge (since you were just there).

Thanks for your reply, Encryptshun. No, the light was not on when I picked it up from the mechanic and it was not the dealership. The light came on two days after my visit. I'll do as you advise, thanks again...
