p0464 fuel level sensor "a" circuit intermittent

has anyone had any experience with this error code? this is what i get when i plug a hand help diagnostic up to my vehicle. im having problems getting my car to run and so far this is the only code that has come up.

I can't imagine the fuel level sensor has anyting to do with the car not starting... did the FSM (factory service manual) give you any insight into what that code involves?

it actually has the car showing that theres no gas in the tank when its almost full one min and the next it shows the right amount. no sure if this is the cause of it not starting but im sure it plays a part

Well, the fuel level sensor is part of the fuel pump assembly. I would get into the trunk and check your connection and verify the pump turns on when you turn the key on...
