P0462 after changing fuel level sending unit

New to the forum and would appreciate anyone who has gone through this giving me some input. Was getting the code P0462 so replaced the fuel level sending unit. Worked for about a week then same thing so I know it's not the sending unit. Still getting the P0462 code and gas gauge always reads full on my 04 Pathfinder. Thanks

Yeah, I had that one. Fuel was always reading about 1/2, so thought it was the sending unit. Found one at the pick-a-part for $25 but didn't fix the problem. Turns out 4 out of 5 times it is a bad capacitor on the instrument panel. Go on ebay and you can get a panel swap out for about $100, or you can wait for them to fix yours so your odo won't be altered. Removing the panel is very easy, btw.
