P0448 EVAP System Vent Control Circuit Shorted

Just got this code and I recently saw that there was a "recall" for an EVAP issue on the Y51 but my car is not affected according to the vin number. Tried calling my local infiniti and they will not have an answer until after the holiday, I want to know if it would be related.

Let me know what u find out I received this code last week. 2011 m56 with 87k. I didn’t see where I could check to see it my vin was covered, where did u find that

The recall has to do with the gas tank fill tube or what not getting clogged...your issues sound like it's related to a sensor or electrical value being out of range. I doubt it's related...but crazier things have happened.
