2002 Pathfinder LE

Service engine light came on, and I went to Autozone for the free code read...came back as P0442 Evap small leak detected. Just had the same thing about a month ago, and had the evap canister replaced, which apparently didnt solve the issue.

I had them reset the light, and so far it hasn't come back, but I have only driven it a few miles.

So, rather than pay someone to go on a wild goose chase, I would like to see if I can look for an obvious leak first. Trouble is, I don't know where to look. What are the major components of the system on this vehicle, aside from the canister, and the fuel tank? Any ideas where they are located?

Any thoughts/hints you all have would be much appreciated.

The first, and easiest thing to check is your gas cap. Try a new one, even a cheap $10 one will suffice. I'll bet anything that's your problem.
