P0441 car has trouble starting when gas tank is filled

At the gas station this morning, filled the tank and the engine had troubles starting, once it did everything is good. Trouble code P0441, purge vale trouble. Is the engine getting flooded because the purge valve could be stuck open? Just curious, I'm going to see if I can clean it or will replace valve this weekend. Curious if anyone else has had this experience. 2003 Nissan 1.8 Liter engine. Thanks for your time.
