P0403 EGR Circuit Code - Help!

I have the P0403 EGR code on my Maxima. My car is put in limp mode and I cannot rev above 2800 rpm. Replaced the EGR valve but the problem remains. Is this a common problem? Any ideas on what to tackle next?

Limp mode limits the engine RPM to 2800 max. Did you check/clean the air passages to the EGR? Did you check the condition of the the EGR connector and leads? I usually use dielectric grease on electrical connectors.
