Yeah, was reading that many have had a problem with the wiring but it turned out to be the sensor. I picked up a sensor from a Murano 3.5 at LQK for $5* (same part #). Was looking all over for where the harness comes out from the plenum, turns out it is in the front of the VQ35, not the back. The running voltage to gnd on the new sensor is 2.6v and the old is just .5v. For now I've got the new sensor bolted to the top of the intake and will probably just run it that way for awhile rather than do all the work. Runs good and no codes so far. We're due for a smog check next month, so hope it stays that way.
* "discounted" Nissan part price is $225 for this sensor! Aftermarket is >$40. I can't say it enough, stay away from the dealers.
