Hello everyone here is my ?. I have a 96 240sx s-14 that has production date of 9/95. This is whats going on I have a P0325 code that is for the knock sensor malf bank 1 sensor 1. I have ohm tested the wire from the sensor to the ecu and the wire is good. i have a brand new $150 sensor still no luck. Only thing i have found is that the ecu in the car is out of a 95....that being said i checked the part #. This is what jim wolf website said. part # A18-E87 G93 is a 95 240SX N M U OBD2 S14-KA24DE 23710-70F03 so could that cause the knock sensor to not talk to the ecu. or am I missing something. THNKS GUYS

Get a volt meter and check continuity from the knock sensor harness all the way to the ecu. Then report back.

The knock sensor code can trigger if you're running low octane gas, but that in by itself shouldn't cause the check engine light to go off.

Try resetting the ecu and see if the engine light comes on.. If it does, it should report back the knock and another code if the knock is truly bad.
