check engine came on last night. i had it scanned and have two stored codes. P0325 is knock sensor and P0136 is O2 sensor. how do i go about diagnosing the problem? the car seems to run the same, and the code didn't come on until after a few minutes of "spirited" driving.

considering the bad knock sensors dont illuminate the mil on,look at replacing the oxygen sensors to fix the problem, after checking wiring/connections first!

why would an oxygen sensor trigger a knock sensor code? because it changed the frequency or something?

Everything seems to trigger a KS code also in OBD II.

KS code means one or more KS are failing the resistance test: open or shorted or not within parameters either because a sensor is defective or its harness or connector has failed.

There is no code for knock amount per se.
