So I'm new to the Infiniti scene and cannot figure out what's going on with my 03 fx45. I have the p0308 code that i can't seem to figure out. I have no acceleration at all, but can manage a slow increase over say a mile or so. I have changed the maf, throttle body, valve cover, fuel injector, coil pack and seafoam treatment through crank, fuel and vacum line. All of this started from the p0300 which prompted me to replace the maf, and being the genius I am decided to clean the throttle body, hence why I replaced that as well. Then found oil on plug 8 and just can't seem to figure it out. Leaning towards burned exhaust valve. Anyone have any suggestions? Sorry for such a long first post.

It's hard to troubleshoot a P0300, being an intermittent misfire that is happening on more than one cylinder. Having it turn into a P0308 seems to show that it's the #8 misfiring more than any other.

Check out this vid, it's just basic troubleshooting the P0300. I hope that helps.
