The car started missing while going down the highway this morning. It felt like it was going to die then it would run ok for a mile or two. It did this several times on the way to and from work. The car then started to run fine just before I got home. I still have the ses light but it is now running ok. I have several hundred mile trip next week and would like to make sure it will be alright. Where do I start?

sounds like it could be a MAF issue. check to see how the sensor looks. if it looks dirty just clean it up.

could be something as simple as a grounding issue too. check ur battery terminals for any rust or corrosion buildup. then trace the ground cables to see what their condition is. be careful and don't shock ur self.

Thanks for the reply. I will check the MAF and the grounds. The battery terminals are clean and tight.
