p0300 and p0306

so i recently got my obd II scanner and it threw up a few codes at me..... when i turned my car on and it started to idle rough and also rumble the same way through light acceleration it gave me code p306 then a day later it rumbled again and it was giving me p300 instead..... i took my qx4 to a mechanic when i first got my car and he said he recoiled all of the cylinders so i was wondering what could possibly be the problem and how to fix this code?

Replace all coils and plugs

well i have new plugs for my qx but i looked and i couldn't find the plug tool does anyone have a pic of it? it is located under the rear seat yes?

It's the '96-'00 trucks that need the plug tool. A plain spark plug wrench (and a LOT of patience) will do your '01.

How long have the plugs been in? If > 60K miles AND they are the right plug (platinum), I'd have a spare set.

I'd check the connections around #6. Unfortunately, this is the bear to get at. If I had to dig in there, i'd replace at least the plug.

Is there another coil that's the same p/n as #6? If yes, I'd swap it with #6 and see if the bug moves.

k sounds good i have my new plugs already but i ran into trouble the other day..... i was cleaning my maf and changing the air filter, decided to look under the engine cover.... i could not find where the spark plugs were my engine bay is so cramped i don't want to just start taking hoses off and breaking things so i guess my question is where are the plugs located so i can have a go at them i'll try to take a pic of my engine but i think my plugs are in the center under the intake manifold.... but it could be on the sides any help is appreciated

There are three on each side of the engine look for the ignition coils. Yours will be black or grey.
