Good morning
I'm having troubles with my QX. The idle is a little rough and now is throwing a P0174 code.
Hooked it up to a scanner and the numbers are

CODE P0174
FUEL SYS1 OL, FAULT
FUEL SYS2 OL, FAULT

CALC LOAD (X) 26.6
COOLANT (°F) 180
ST FTRM1(%) -24.2

LT FTRM1(%) 0.0
ST FTRM2(%) 24.9
LT FTRM2(%) 0.7

MAP(IN.HG) 10.0
ENGINE (RPM) 950
VEH SPEED (MPH) 26

What I should check.

Thanks,

Fernando

Hi Fernando, and welcome to Nico!
The best thing to do is use the search button on the right of your screen (should be flashing)
There is a good chance that the problem you are having has been experienced by another member.
A quick search found me this...
Chuck Tribolet wrote:P0174 is US drivers side running lean. FSM says these causes for P0174:

Intake air leaks
Heated O2 Sensor 1
Injector
Exhaust gas leaks
Incorrect fuel pressure
lack of fuel
mass air flow sensor
Incorrect PCV hose connection

Not a word about the cat. It does have about eight pages of how to figure out WHICH of the above it is.
Try some of those things, and see how you go.

Thanks,
I've searched the forums for the subject and find differents troubles (convined with other codes P0171, P0300) and the ones specific to P0174 were not quite the same.
The SUV just went thru a overhaull (pistons, rings, bearings, gaskets, head job, etc) and got out of the shop with a little hessitation at idle. After a while the code comes. I was hoping with the scanners data some one can pin point me about a specific thing to look at.

Thanks

Fernando

PD I dont want to buy parts just to find the problem was in other one. The mecanich told me to buy spark plugs wires, but I'm thinking the problem is not in that direction. :)
