Hi, all.

I know this is a Nissan/Infiniti forum, but I figure I can get better advice here than anywhere else. So, I am asking ... since I am not an expert on this kind of issue at all.

My wife's 1997 Acura 2.2CL just had a CEL come on. So, I "rented" (for free, cool!) a OBD-II code reader from Autozone and got the following code:

P0141. O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction. Bank 1, Sensor 2.

I cleared it and it has not yet recurred in 20 minutes of driving. But, given that this is a 9+ year old car, I am sure that something is probably broken and will need fixing/replacing soon enough anyway. Not surprising at all!

Anyway, can you all give me some pointers as to where to begin diving in and looking to see what might need to be done? The few references I saw in a Search here pointed to diagrams for a 1998 Nissan 240SX and a Maxima ... does not help me unfortunately on an Acura (not surprisingly!).

Thanks in advance!

Z

that seems to me like the sensor heating element is not functioning. Might as well replace the sensor.
