P0058 after replacing Bank 2 Sensor 2 on I35 (original code was P0158)

I orginally had code P0158. I replaced the Bank 2 sensor 2 oxygen sensor and now I am getting P0058. What now. This car is getting on my last ....... Help, I hate that Check Engine light being on.

Did you install OE-quality sensor or universal one? P0058 indicates you have a problem with the heating element with the replacement O2 sensor. If you use universal sensor, you could have made a wrong splice.

with the engine warm and engine speed <3600 RPM, the ECM turns ON the. If the current is out of range or high voltage is detected (as in a heater short circuit), the ECM triggers the fault code and turn ON the CEL. Check the resistance of the heating element as well as the condition of the connector/harness.
