P Shift illuminated and beeping on dash only 200 miles on Car!

well first issue with my 2008 G35x.. after i stop and park car, place shifter in park... a red illumination occurs on dash, that has a P and the word -shift, with a graphic of an arrow pointing up, also beepingg continues for hours and is still beeping...guessing my battery will die... I can't seem to find a way to turn it off.. maybe something to do with key FOB's or seems the car doesn'r think the shift is engaged in PARK..guess I'm headed to dealer in the morning!

any ideas?

Weird. It looks like as you said your car doesn't recognize the park. I assume you tried to take it out from park and put it back already. Maybe disconect the battery or shift lock would be another option.
