Ok so I finished the sr swap...go up to my room to look for my key in my closet...found my key...(something was wrong)took a closer look and the friken key was broke in half!

Nissan cant get a keycode from vinNissanUSA cant get a keycode and states there is a sticker in the glove box, center console, or ashtray with the keycode on it.

so as frustrated as I was, I looked for the sticker...S*** no sticker!

Called nissan... they said call the locksmith to make a key...****!

Called a locksmith, they want the passenger side door lock cylinder to make the key.

So I go to take it out... and... WTF! its a b****! still havent gotten it out.

I disconnected the lower connecting rod, but the window blocks the upper connecting rod. I cant get to it. The two nuts holding the handle to the door are removed, but it wont pivot out of the door. I cant get the thing out! any one have any tips on getting it out?

BTW i have power door locks and the actuator is also making it difficult to remove.

Here are some pics of what it looks like back there... see how its blocked...The lock cylinder...And how far it will come out without breaking it...

how hard would it be to take the ignition off the steering column and have the broken key taken out of that? maybe easier than the door.
