Right now Im working on a P/S cooler for the s13. Im using these oil/fluid radiators I found at my friends house. The only PIA I have is mounting them. I cut the brackets off of the resonator box and Ill be mounting it in its place. Im using epoxy to glue the brackets to the cooler. Will this work or am I just wasting my time? The epoxy says not to use in over 200 degree F conditions.

Are you having trouble with your oil temperatures? Most 240's i've seen don't really need one, except for all out race, curve hugging monsters. If you have high temp. oil, i'd look for any failures rather than a patch.

Well, some times after a couple drift runs, I got P/S oil spewing out my resivoir, might have boiled over, just using this as a precaution, plus, I think its unique.I managed to drill part of the cooler to fit some bolts to it, looks ghetto, but it holds up.

How did you plumb it into the PS system? My son and I are setting his '92 up for autocross, and I know from personal experience and observing others that the PS fluid gets boiled easily.

TIA, and have a good one,Mike

Well I didnt finish the cooler yet, still debating if I should just stack it or put it where the SMIC would go for a turbo'd s13. If I put it where the smic would go, id have to sawzall out the hole, cause my end tank isnt small enough for the hoses to fit through that hole, i need to enlargen it. I was just going to plub it from the hose that goes to the pump from the resovoir and then back to the resivoir. Pretty sure it woulda worked out.
