Hi I have been thinking about having my head ported and polished but from what ive heard about the gains being very minimal and the price being very high I am not sure if I should have this done or not...what I would like to know is if any of you has had any experience with a ported and polished head and your opinions on it...are you glad you did it or not?..what were your gains? how much did you pay and what exactly did you have done? and where did you have it done? also the people who did it, did they do a good job or did they end up being all talk and screwed your head up..i have heard of this happening many times before..I have searched on here but not found the exact answers i have been looking for..thanks for your help

Not worth it. The SR head flows well enough. The best thing you could do is a ported high flow intake and exhuast manifold and some head work like cams.
